I used grinding stones on a side angle air tool, to get the rough casting off and than went to 2" sanding disc's on the same side angle air tool and then stepped up to a regular grinder with a disc that you can get at any lowes etc its made to rip paint off metal its more a sanding disc than cutting disc really takes it down nice i have used it on the body in places aswell really cleans up metal quite nicely.

Damn Bryon im really loving those heads where did you buy yours at? Those Canfileds! im going to be running the 215's aswell.

I see that Canfield doesnt offer the 215cc head anymore at least on there website just a 195 and a 220, those are about 2yrs old and i think i got them from competition products as part of a "top end" package deal if i remeber right

Thanks guys really appreciate the comments!
It will look Way better stuffed full of Mahle pistons here soon and a solid roller Voodoo. Heres a few other photos of the motor. It always seems like alot of work but from building a few other builds in the past ive learned that id rather take the extra time with no rush date or anything to make it exactly how i want it i built my nova and smooth it up aswell including the frame etc. and you alwasy wish you would of done something a lil differantly so trying to stay at it and enjoy the build!
My 72 Nova 383 smoothed up cruiser!
