jitteryguy, keep up the good work on the kid working on the car. he may hate you for it, or he may suprise you and be a great co-worker. when my son busted a pin on his oil drive gear and seized his engine, i made him help me rebuild his engine. it ment pulling the engine, tearing it down, getting the machine work, checking the specs, putting it together, installing it and testing it. if he couldn't work on it that night, (c'mon dad, i have to go and meet phallusbrain in town), then i said, ' cool, i guess you don't want to drive anymore'. 9 outa 10 he would stay and work with me. it was great fun for both of us. he and i learned a lot about each other and about cars. i would say it was one of the best times we had as a father and son experience. get the young ones interested in cars. it will keep them too broke for drugs....
