I got new rear springs and drag shocks and picked up some speedo gears plan on installin them later today.

I've been blocksanding the car getting it ready for paint & dabbling on the roof to get that nice and straight

Got the wagon up on the frame table and started mocking up the new rearend.

I thought about what I needed to do to mine to get it road worthy...

• Repair a few frame parts
• Paint frame
• Clean suspension parts
• Swap in new rearend bushings
• Swap drivetrain/suspension from the '81
• Plumb fuel lines/brake lines
• Install fuel tank
• Put the body back on
• Cut a hole in the floor for the shifter
• Put some interior parts back in
• All that other miscellaneous crap

Then I can drive it down here to AZ and have some fun

Installed motor/trans from my Monte SS in my 79 4 door Malibu (350/Vortec heads/Q jet/Headers/2004R). Fabbed frame extension for 2004R. Motor and transmission are in place. Will finish install later this week.

Fixed a leaky valve stem. Now I'm good to go for my track day in a few weeks.

Stabbed HEI, Installed QJet,fuel pump, lines, transmission linkages,radiator,shroud,headers,PS pump,alternator,water pump,hoses(all), ETC.

Still need to install new transmission lines,battery cables, complete exhaust,fluids,blah,blah,blah,...Tomorrow is another day. Should be driving it this weekend.
