Went for about a 200 mile ride with the family to test out the car. No issues at all. Got a whopping 13.5 mpg

I got the new trans cooler mounted, now I'm just waiting on the hose and fittings to show up, the trans to be built by my trans guy and the convertor to come back from being cut open and rebuilt... Then I can put it all together! about a week or two more weeks to wait...
Retired it from daily driver duty, bought the wife a new car so I get the tow pig back and the Malibu goes in the garage and the knife come out
Hooked up my transmission lines to the cooler. tonight I'll connect all the wiring...then this thing should be ready to fire up.
Replaced the AC/heater controls because one of the little chrome levers broke off...had to pull the radio to get one of the connectors..when i pulled the radio out I broke the power wire to my power intenna..that power wire came from somewhere inside the radio.
If the radio won't control it anymore, do a temporary fix and tie it to the ignition-controlled 12v. The antenna will come up any time the key is on, but at least it will come up.
Cleaned, primered and bedcoated my 4 link bars. Going to finish them up tomorrow and start finish welding the frame this weekend.
