Going back on July 29th. Going to add a few degrees of timing and see what it runs on 6psi, then add a few pounds.

1 What year harness /ecm did you use ?
2. What did your throttle body come off of?
3. If I have a DBW harness would I be able to convert it over to DBC ? If not what year do I need?
Im trying to gather parts for my build going 5.3 or 6.0 with boost with a 4l60 or 80 in a 84 monte SS. How does your motor run out of boost? Does it have alot of lag or run pretty good going in to boost? Mine would be a something I drive alot.

3...use the harness you have, you can remove whatever wires your not using, When my brother did mine, it was about 150 wires stock, when he was done it was down to about 60 wires.
car runs strong off the boost..the aluminum 5.3 is a 10 to 1 motor, so off the boost it runs great. not much lag, I have a 3000 stall so just when i come up to 3000 its making boost.

not this year, in 2 weeks I go to the track. Last fall it ran mid 10's at a modest 10 psi, since then I put higher 3.23 gears in it, and a new stock ls9 cam, seems to pull alot harder.
