TKO 600 fitment

I have had all these parts for years. Installed and uninstalled and back again and again and again. By all my measurements, the tail housing is 2 inches low when I jack it all the way against the floorpan. Every one I have read about says they fit with a little massaging but I don't see it. I am looking for some more accurate input. I know I can cut the tunnel and redo it but would rather not. Please let me in on any information you have. I really want to get this going this summer. Check out Meat Drapes' thread on a TKO600. I'm pretty sure his went right in. Is a shifter mount hitting the floor?

Not true. They hit the floor pan. It has nothing to do with the shifter. Thank you for the thought. Chris

My fits but it is still is lower than it should be and My tunnel has been modifed over the years for a 4 speed shifter with straight linkages. My front crossmember had to notched so My oil pan didn't hit.

How are your body mounts? Are the crossmember bolts very close to the floor?
