It's my understanding that's where the m/c will go. Check out John's site, I think there's something on there about it.

I went ahead and snapped the first pic. Here is a comparison of the template and the factory setup. Looks pretty close.

I am going to be able to keep the throwout bearing that came with the McLeod setup. So it will be 'standard' bearing...all linkage removed.. All of the parts are on a UPS truck somewhere on a US road making their way to my house.

I will first tackle the clutch pedal and M/C geometry. Once all of that its setup, the bellhousing will be replaced. Save the easiest for last.
If someone would come over and supply the labor I will buy you all the beer you can drink!!

I think this thread could be classified as a blog.

I had my tko in a camaro for a short time. I used an f body mc and slave system with a McCleod sp? scattershield and a 168 clutch setup. I used their fork with their adjustable fork ball. I considered switching to a hydraulic throw out bearing because I could not adjust it enough to get full throw out of the slave. It always wanted more. I don't know what the problem was. Maybe too small an mc. Looking forward to see how yours turns out. Chris

Here is the new John Bdzel clutch pedal. Very nice peice of work. Might have to drill a hole to accomodate the switch for the clutch/ignition doodad.
It sure is going to sit low. Guess there will be very little pedal movement compared to the mech linkage. Or is the clutch stop removed? I dont know, I have not put much thought into it yet.

Began pulling parts off the Bu to get ready for the conversion. I am being slow and lazy. Forte sent me the wrong Master Cylinder, poor communication on my part. I will have to cut a hole for the starter, or have a hole cut. I bet I could do it with a hole-saw?
New bell and fork looks nice . I guess if this works I can unload my stock clutch fork and linkage.

Nice!

Just a word of caution for you about that fork. I have the same fork and slave btw. I got a T/O bearing from Napa and it was slightly different than the one Forte's sent me. Here is what happened to the fork. Not a huge deal, but figured id give ya a heads up.
