What mufflers are you running?

i have 70 series big block mufflers from flowmaster ok quit till you step on it and has deep sound love it.

I'm running Spintech Pro Street mufflers on my z71, and i will use them in my 83 wagon once i git the 5.3 built and put in it..

they are actuall reasonable at idle, but sound like a cleaned up version of open headders wot. i love them

Personally i would stay away from flowmasters, thats just my opinion though. From what ive found, LS motors sound nasty with just about any exhaust.

borla xr-1 race muffler sound good. allot quieter than u think. good tone, i have one on my tbss.

Gibson axle back mufflers, they were made specifically for the 04-09 Mustang GT, got a great deal on them brand new with the stainless steel tips. I think they sound way better on the LS1 than the 4.6 p-o-s!

Walker Dyno Max will get you what you want. A nice deep sound with out the attention
