The TKO came from Keisler this way. Thay also have a crossmember that would work for the Malibu. But you would have to get a frame extension for it. The frame extension is cheap and easy to install.

You don't happen to know what the distance is from your bellhousing (block face) to your shifter do you? or from transmission face of the bellhousing to the shifter?

ya, I picked that schematic sheet up myself, but his shifter, according to his pictures, is in a different spot... it's, I think, about another 3/4" to 1" forward than the off the shelf shifter at 16.75".
Yeah, iirc Keisler made a shifter to come up in the stock G-Body shifter location. My cars are/were both autos so I'm cutting a hole anyway, I'd prefer to have it further back since I'll have buckets.
Try these pics... one is from directly under the shifter. You can see the original shifter hump outline and how the Keisler shifter sits back and to the driver side.

Just FYI for any of you out there wondering.
Car is currently off the road for a solid roller lifter upgrade. PLus it has no heater and its cold outside which makes it no fun to drive.
Motor is toast... got needle bearings inside the engine from a failed rocker and they caused all kinds of havoc.
