Tremec TKO 600

Your patience for this knows no bounds....most guys would have thrown a TH400 in it by now and pulled the carpet over their extra pedal.

There is nothing like my car with the 5 speed. It is everything I had ever wanted. Its fast. Its unique( at least around here it is).
The black interior, black carpet...black everything EXCEPT, the white 5 speed shifter ball. I LOVE IT!!!!
I bought the car to put it together and rip it apart. Over and over again.
If I dont have a new cut or scrap on my knuckles every week, then something is wrong. There is always something to tinker with.
I wonder whats going to break next once I get a clutch that grabs?
Any guesses?

the trans will again and again
T-56 t-5's tremec is general just cant handle high power and power shifting.
Ever watch those vipers and vettes with the twin turbo super million dollar engines???
Watch them shift the car
they NEVER power shift.
You see the nose go up and all the way down with every shift.

I dont think that my TKO 600 is going to break. I dont have 600ft lbs of torque and I am certain that it is capable of handling much more then that.

My '84 Monte is now a four speed car, and because I have plans to replace the Muncie with a TKO-600 I have followed this thread closely.
No slushboxes for me, at least not in this car.

Summit refunded me the money for the clutch that failed. Center Force said it would hold....
