I did a bunch of reading on the SPEC. They sure do 'appear' to have nice products. But if you hunt around other forums, NOBODY likes the clutch. Why? Even though I have now burned up 2 CenterForce DFs, the Chevelle.com Big Block users still think I should go back to CenterForce.

Unfortunatly I have givin up on my quest for the 11" bellhousing. I dont want to spend that much on the lakewood stuff and then deal with indexing all over again. What I have, 606 casting, is indexed, in my garage, I have a rebuilt clutch fork to go with it.
Center Force Tech is 'certain' that thier DFX line can hold my application. They refunded me my money once before, they will eat it again if it fails.

noone like it because it is an extremely hard gripping clutch and for someone that just drives there cars to shows or around town if they are not use to it they will hate it
But as for performance and ripping those tires it is top notch!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently the '84-'88 Vette bellhousing lines up just peachy with the G-Body linkage. I don't know how rare these bellhousings are though, so it may be a ghost hunt, I can't be any help there. But, since I'm here and I know you're looking for an 11" bellhousing...

CHECK IT OUT :) I'd remembered seeing a repro 11" bellhousing somewhere, and OPGI came to mind. I believe I'd seen one somewhere else as well, BUUUUUUUUUUT I can't be sure.

OPG says they have an 11 inch Gbody bellhousing but when you call them They know nothing about it other than they know they have it. No specs No manufacturer

I have spent the last week looking at every possible combo for the G-Body.
There are options for bellhousings. None are feasible for a stubborn a$$hole like me though. While the pics you show me look great..good luck finding that stuff. I have seen that pic and hunted that bell as well. The only real options are:

1. keep the stock 606 casting and hunt down a 454 flywheel that has 153T, this is near impossible. Very few options that are not expensive.

2. Hunt down the elusive bellhousing that is for a G-Body that is capable of handling the 11" clutch. There are none to be found.

3. Use a Lakewood scattershield. None of them come from the factory that dont need crazy indexing and I am just not wanting to play with dowel pins and shell out mega bucks for that AND an expensive clutch.
